About Me
Pinar Binay is a young creator living in New York City. She is in her 20s and originally from Western Turkey.
From an early age, she had a passion for all types of entertainment. She professionally danced, played the piano and acted.
As a teenager, she focused more on filmmaking and producing. She founded CinéJoseph, a short film competition between high schools in Turkey.
Pinar is writing/directing her own movies as well as working on different creative projects. One of her films has been screened in Angelica Theater in NYC. A Turkish film, Drawers (2015), which Pinar worked on has won multiples awards including Best Film at Nuremberg Film Festival.
She is passionate about producing and worked on different level NYU projects as well as larger projects at her internship at Maven Pictures.
Currently, Pinar is studying Film and Television at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
